Ramesses ll     19th Dynasty

Ramesses ll  building accomplishments are two temples at Abu Simbel for him and his Great Wife Nefertari, the hypostyle hall at Karnak, a Mortuary Temple at Abydos, the Colossus of Ramesses at Memphis, a vast tomb at Thebes, additions at  Luxor Temple and the famous Ramesseum.  Ramesses II, son of Seti I, was around thirty years old when he became king of Egypt – and then reigned for 67 years. He had many wives, among them some of his own near relatives, and was the father over 100 sons and over 50 daughters.
